This time, we’re back to marine life, as well as our first Ice type of these Pokémon Analysis articles. And they’re pretty adorable looking Pokémon too! Seel and Dewgong are our focus this time around. They may not win any awards in the clever/unique naming scheme and ‘based on’ categories out of all the Pokémon, but they do have a certain charm to them all the same.

Hope you don’t have a phobia of spiders!

This time, the random number generator takes us from birds to spiders. There’s much less of a representation of that sort of animal in Pokemon, and the Spinarak line is the one we’ve got to play with. It does at least have a more unique typing than Pidove with Bug/Poison, and a thing for faces and having the wrong number of legs. Let’s see what there is to know about these spiders!

Pokemon Analysis: The Pidove Line!


From pigeons to quills to peacocks… the identity crisis Pokemon!

Last time, we covered the Lotad line, one of the more unique Pokemon species out there. This time though the RNG decided to give us a far more ‘normal’ species as far as Pokemon go in the Pidove line! This doesn’t mean, however, that there’s nothing interesting about 5th gen’s staple starting bird line by any means. There’s some details that set this Normal/Flying line apart from its brethren.

Pokemon: From lilypads to…dancing pineapple ducks with sombreros. What’s not to love?

This is the first analysis in which a random number generator has determined the Pokémon line for us to examine! And what an oddball bunch we have here. They have it all, from a rarely-seen ability and certainly unique typing to what are frankly weird designs. It’s no wonder that the majority of people tend to prefer the Sapphire version exclusives to Ruby’s Seedot line.

Pokemon Analysis: Wynaut and Wobbuffet!


They sure look excited.

Because what better set of Pokemon could one possibly use for the first magazine analysis than these? Other Pokemon to grab the spotlight later on shall be chosen by a random number generator, but these two get the exception solely because Wynaut is the name of the magazine.
