To start: What's your favourite game, and why?

Mine is definitely Ocarina of Time, with Majora's Mask ranking as a close second. The plot, the varied side quests and the world in general was enough to keep me playing for hours and hours. I loved almost every hour, save for maybe ones spent in Water Temple or battling some hard boss over and over again. Still, after playing other games, OoT remains in my memories as an exceptionally good one.

Majora's Mask was excellent for the unique concept of it, and again, the world is simply breath-taking. I'd like to complete all the side quests one day and get the Fierce Deity Mask. If not for anything else, just to show off. *:B Too bad I can't play my copy of it right now, because my N64 is acting up in a way that makes it pretty impossible.

The Oracle games are my handheld favorites with TMC in second place. Simply put, they are my favorite cause all 3 offer a large world to explore with many sidequests and collecting. The innovation is not all that special but good lord does it kick you hard with the difficulty. The stories are the best, simply cause they do a lot what others didn't.

As for my console favorite it has to go to Twilight Princess then Majora's Mask. Twilight Princess cause it was a step in the right direction and much more appealing then OoT once the rosy tinted glasses of nostalgia come off. Majora's Mask cause of the dark setting and its difficulty. Also the NPC count and variety it has is staggering and that alone provides enough for the game to be number 2.

My favourite is Majora's Mask, hands down. I adore the thriving world they created. It tugged at my heartstrings, lemme tell you.

Second fave is Twilight Princess, mainly because of Midna and her incredible awesomeness.

Ahh, I love Majora's Mask too. I agree, the whole world in it was amazing. I can spend hours on ZeldaWiki reading about Zelda, but most of it is the little bits and pieces of stories about the characters in Majora's Mask.

I also agree about Midna. I am in the middle of finishing the game at Palace of Twilight (hush everyone, I don't get much time xD). It's all very stunning and all very creepy. I love it. I think the Twilight Realm in TP and the Dark World in A Link to the Past (and the whole theme of Majora's Mask?) are my favourite parts of the games. I guess I like dark stories. xD
