The General Application

Name: Empoleon, Josh in real life, if it matters.

Birthdate: May 1, 1993

Gender: Male

Hobbies/Interests: Writing, Japanese anime, fandom, science fiction, airsoft (specifically milsim), video games, tennis.

Favorite Pokémon: Arcanine, Empoleon, Rotom.

Favorite Type: Psychic. I don't know why but the psychic-type has always appealed to me. I think it may be the intellectual abilities, though telepathy and telekinesis would also be cool.

Favorite Aspect: The anime and games. Haven't really read much of the manga so I cannot judge.

Other Fandoms I Follow: Nothing at the moment. Am sort of getting pulled into Stargate.

Five Random Things About Me:
1. I'm tall (roughly 7'0''). And no I don't play basketball.
2. I like electronic dance music.
3. I have too much free time on my hands...
4. I play classical bass (sort of).
5. I only got into Pokemon in Hoenn o.O
(6. I want to learn a slew of languages, but so does everyone and their cat, er... glameow). No, but I'm doing well in Spanish and theoretically should be more or less fluent midway through college. Japanese and other European languages would hypothetically be next...

...And we have a winner! Being taller than our resident Super Moderator, you're officially the tallest person around until someone comes around and claims that title. So, have some sparkles and stuff!

And what do you refer to when you say "classical bass"? As in, a double bass the string instrument? Because I totally play classical music and it would be great to know someone like-minded was around. *xD

Anyway, welcome to the board, and I really hope you like it here! Nice to meet you!

Yes I mean double bass (I don't know why I didn't just say that in the first place...). And, I'm currently in my high school's chamber orchestra, yay?!? Classical music is definitely pretty fun.

I think we'll get along just fine.

1. You're a foot taller than me. Dang.
2. No comment. Sorry. ^.^;
3. So do I. Combined with boredom, it's a deadly weapon!
4. That's interesting.
5. Hoenn Pokemon... well, there's one thing I can be thankful to Hoenn about, and that's Skitty!
6. I'm one of those people, who want to learn Japanese. If not, I can live without it. That's why subs and translation patches exist.
